Located directly across from the Duval County Courthouse at 491 W Forsyth Street in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. We are on the CORNER of FORSYTH and CLAY Streets, on the Retail Level, First Floor of the Duval County Courthouse Parking Garage. This can be your walk-in wedding chapel. You can be married by an Ordained Minister or by a Florida Commissioned Notary. We offer ceremonies to your wedding wishes. Our ceremonies include:
the ceremony, Digital photographs, and a couple more surprises. We now will have the ability to PRINT your wedding photos on-site. Our photo packages are reasonable and include 8 X 10 or 5 X 7.

Or you can click the CONTACT US at the bottom with questions and we will always be available to take a call and answer any questions. We have a couple of options for the ceremony. We have MARRIED IN A MINUTE ™ to Make It Legal. It is a short ceremony with all of the legal requirements to be married in Florida. We also have a longer version crafted to your needs with or without rings and with or without prayers.

Why you should complete your marriage license:
Completing the marriage license is the task that gives a wedding officiant the title “Officiant.” We are making a marriage “officially” legal. In order to be legally married and have the legal rights and privileges of marriage, you need to have a marriage license from any county in the State of Florida. Once you have the marriage license, it needs to be completed by a person who officially meets the requirements of Florida to do so – usually a Notary, Ordained Minister, Judge, Justice of the Peace, or similar. Obtaining a marriage license just means you are allowed to marry. By completing the marriage license, you are choosing to actually marry and enter into the legal contract. A ceremony must be performed for your marriage to be valid. Don’t let anyone tell you that it just has to be signed. It has to be solemnized. You are entering into a legal and valid contract with another person. We must have a ceremony, however brief, for it to be legal, and we do it in MARRIED IN A MINUTE ™. We can’t just sign and stamp, it must be solemnized.
Q: When “solemnizing the rites of matrimony,” is it acceptable for the Notary Public to complete the marriage certificate without actually performing a marriage ceremony? A: No. Completing the marriage certificate portion of the Marriage Record is not the same act as performing the marriage ceremony. Actually, the certificate is your way of certifying that you solemnized the marriage. You should not falsely certify that a ceremony was performed when, in fact, one was not.
Parking Fee
Metered parking is available downtown and is $2 per hour. We are on the Retail Level of The Duval County Courthouse Parking Garage on the Southwest Corner. We are at the Corner of W Forsyth and N Clay. The entrance for the Garage is at 151 Clay Street and the charge is $4 per hour or $10 for the day. The Garage is ONLY OPEN weekdays. You can have a one stop and get your license and get married on the same day IF you are out of state residents (both of you) or if you have taken the Premarital Class. There is also a surface lot on N. Clay Street and Houston Street, closest to W Forsyth which is attended. Tell JAMIE you are coming to get your license and coming to see us. He will take care of your vehicle with an Eagle Eye.

We accept ALL CREDIT CARDS and APPLE PAY. Contact us to reserve your Wedding Day at Rainbow Wedding Chapel. We look forward to being a part of your special day. WITNESSES are NOT REQUIRED but ALWAYS WELCOME.

A $50 RETAINER is REQUIRED for ALL SATURDAY EVENTS.
Take An Online Course and Skip The Waiting Period!
Note that there is a mandatory 3 day waiting period in Florida, if one or both persons are Florida residents. HOWEVER, you can skip this if you take an online course. Taking the Class save you TIME and MONEY. It removes the 3 days wait and takes $25 off of the cost of your MARRIAGE LICENSE from the STATE. We highly recommend taking the Florida Premarital Class.
